Constructed of
industrial grade particleboard and covered
with durable plastic laminate, 21000, 22000 and 27000
series extra wide designer lockers offer ample space for
personal storage needs and are ideal for settings where a
professional environment is desired. These spacious extra
wide designer lockers feature a gray, blue, black, maple,
cherry or mahogany finish and include an are available in
18" and 21" depths. Optional matching laminated sloping
hoods and side panels easily attach to extra wide designer
lockers and provide a finished look to an individual locker
or a row of lockers. Extra wide designer lockers include a
4'' H black base and measure six (6) feet high (add 4'' for
the base). All locker doors are 15'' wide and include a black
name / number plate (custom engraving #22260 is available
as an option upon request. All locker doors also include
heavy duty concealed hinges and a lift up handle and
recessed hasp for added security - built-in locks (#22210
for combination and #22215 for key), padlocks (#22220
for combination and #22225 for key), electronic locks
(#22290) and resettable combination locks (#22295) are
available as options upon request. One wide extra wide
designer lockers are available as fully assembled units only.
Three (3) wide extra wide designer lockers are also available
as fully assembled units only and require minor assembly.

compartment to 40-3/4" high on one side to accommodate

These instruction are intended to assist you in a
typical wall-anchored or back-to-back locker installation. Individual
job conditions will dictate the type of fasteners
and whether the lockers must be anchored to the wall, the floor
or both.
The
20000 Series Extra Wide Designer Lockers require
minimal assembly. The basic lockers are factory assembled.
It may be necessary to install the bases onto the floor, the
lockers onto the bases and to each other, the optional side
panels to the exposed sides of the lockers, and the lockers
wall.
Hardware
Supplied with Each Locker
1.
(1) Metal wall strap with three holes to attach locker to
wall or back-to-back. Bend the strap to tie locker to wall
as shown in illustration.
2.
(3) #10 x 5/8" long hex-head sheet metal screws to attach
strap to top of lockers back-to-back or between locker and
wall.
3.
(2) #10 x 1-3/8" long hex-head machine screws to fasten
lockers together side-by-side. Mating t-nuts are pre-installed
in locker walls.
4.
(2) 1-1/4" long drywall screws to attach side panel to
locker.
5.
(1) Disk number plate.
Installation
Instructions
1.
Bases should be set in place and leveled. The rear edge
of the base should touch the wall or the other base if lockers
are installed back-to-back. There are 1-wide and 3-wide
bases.
2.
If the back of the locker is against a wall, bend the metal
strap as shown in the illustration. Set the locker on the base
spaced 5/8" from he wall for ventilation air. The metal
straps
will be installed in Step 5 below.
Leave
the metal strap flat for fastening lockers back-to-
back. Allow a 1-1/4" ventilation space between the backs
of lockers if lockers are back-to-back and side panels are
being installed. The metal straps will be installed in
Step 5 below.
Lockers
alongside a wall with padlock type locking must be
spaced 5/8" from the side wall to allow swing room for
the
padlock.
3.
Bolt multiple lockers together through the two unused
holes and tee nuts near the door hinges.
4.
Attach the finished side panels flush with the front of the
locker body (not the door) allowing the excess to cover the
5/8" air space.
5.
Once the lockers are plumb and level, attach the bent or
flat metal straps to the top of the lockers and to the wall
or
other lockers as required.
6.
Peel backing from disk number plate, align, and
press into recess.

22234 angled side panel for the 20000 Series
Extra Wide Designer Lockers. We are confident that the quality
and construction of these options will prove to be a
good investment. These instructions are intended to assist you
in positioning and fastening the sloping hood and angled
side panel to the locker.
Each
1-wide 22251 sloping hood includes three (3)
1-1/4" long drywall screws and a template to drill three
(3) hoes in the top panel of the 1-wide locker.
Each
3-wide 22253 sloping hood includes six (6)
1-1/4" long drywall screws and a template to drill three
(3) holes in the top panels of each of the two (2) outside
compartment tops of the 3-wide designer locker.
Each
22212534 angled side panel is pre-drilled and
includes two (2) 1-1/4" long drywall screws to attach
the side panel to the locker.
Sloping
Hood Installation Instructions
For
the 1-wide sloping hood, follow the 4 steps below.
For the 3-wide sloping hood, repeat steps 1-3 below
on each of the two (2) outside compartments of the
3-wide designer locker and perform step 4 with the
six (6) provided screws.
1.
Place template on top of locker top positioned as
noted on template.
2.
Center punch three (3) holes through template and
into locker top.
3.
Remove template and drill three (3) 5/32" (.156)
diameter holes into center punch locations.
4.
Position sloping hood on locker top and insert three
(3) screws from underside of locker top and into the
sloping hood.
