Activated Caster Technology
The
AP5000 series features Body Weight
Activated Caster Technology™. 4 swivel
casters, mounted on a front cam mechanism and
rear springs, make the AP5000 easy to use in
material handling applications. Simply press the
front pedal to lift ladder onto swivel casters for
transport. Then stand on the ladder and casters
automatically retract, leaving slip resistant
shoes in contact with floor during climbing and use.
