Type A40 Split Four Socket Cross has a unique "hinge and pin" system that enables it to be used on existing structures without the need for dismantling.

The unique "hinge and pin" system of this fitting, enables existing structures to
be easily extended without the need for dismantling. This fitting is most frequently
used in multiple upright structures, to tie a center upright with horizontal pipes in
four directions. The upright passes through the fitting.
