FEATURES
- Final assembly and load test in the USA
- Brake sets and operates without minimum preload
- Ultimate strength is 5 X Working Load Limit, meeting ASME HST-3 Appendix A,
for marine and other US Department of Defense (DOD) applications - 100% inspection and hook replacement are permitted by bolted hook blocks
- Weston style mechanical load brake is self-adjusting with double pawls,
- asbestos-free brake discs and is surrounded by an enclosure to limit contamination.
- Fused break disc cannot crack, shatter, or absorb moisture
- Precision hoist load chain with strength of G100 chain made in Japan or EU
- Ambient Temperature range -40° F to +140° F (-40° C to +60° C)

X5S™ ADDITIONAL SUBSEA MODEL FEATURES
- SubSea models for use submerged under water.
- Brake is enclosed in a gasket sealed area along with
bolted-in stainless dual springs and pawls. - Meets IMCA D028 standard (UK sub-sea lever hoist standard).
- Extensive coatings, finishes and materials to resist corrosion.
- Fitted with an adjustable chain stop to meet local codes
for use under water.
